A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the DNREC Delaware Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: Nanticoke Indian Association Cultural Community Center and Food Bank (2023.0087)
The Nanticoke Indian Association (NIA) proposes to utilize U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funding to renovate, restore, and expand the NIA Cultural Community Center and Food Bank at 27073 John J. Williams Hwy, Millsboro, DE 19966. Activities would include interior and exterior renovations as well as the construction of a building expansion which would house restrooms, a food bank, a children’s area, and a classroom. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.
