Stop by to get a tree that you can plant as part of the Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI).
The Delaware Botanic Gardens will give away 250 trees that people can plant to help meet the state’s goal of a new tree for every person in the state.
Find information on selecting, planting and caring for trees on the TEDI web page at de.gov/tedi.
The Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative is a collaborative effort involving DNREC, the Delaware Forest Service and other key stakeholders.
Trees will be available between 9 a.m and 4 p.m., or until the trees are gone.
