Division staff support many worthwhile activities, including Public Outreach:

It is important to communicate the importance of water resources in Delaware and how the public can help the Division of Water protect these valuable resources. The division actively participates in statewide events that provide personnel with the opportunity to meet the public in an informal setting.
The division coordinates special outreach events, which are presented by the division technical staff on topics such as water conservation, hydrology, groundwater, surface water, and chemistry. The division considers these events an opportunity to reach tens of thousands of customers through one-on-one discussions, distribution of educational materials, and use of interactive displays.
