An enforcement officer on nearby patrol made the arrests within 10 minutes of the call’s having been placed, based on a description of the pair provided by witnesses who’d seen them hunting and discharging firearms in the area.

He was committed to Gander Hill Prison after failing to post $3,400 bail imposed by the Justice of the Peace Court 11.
Sandra M. Kite, 63, who was arrested at the same time as Mr. Anderson, was issued a summons to appear later in JP Court 9 in Middletown for arraignment on one count of 3d degree conspiracy and one count of hunting from a motor vehicle, with six unlawfully killed snow geese collected as evidence.
